About Mia as a teacher
Mia Sloth Møller graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in 2003. Mia has found a good balance between being a practising artist and teaching; the more she delves into her own work, the more inspired she feels as a teacher. And the more inspired she feels as a teacher, the more inspiration she gets for her own work.
Mia is excited about teaching at her and Fabian's own studio. For many years she has taught adults in the municipality and she has always loved it. She's always carried bags of materials and supplies with her, now she has everything at her fingertips all the time. And she's looking forward to sharing the great atmosphere and creative spirit with all the great people who sign up for the courses.
Mia is empathetic and inspiring and she loves to see people succeed in expressing themselves in new and amazing ways.
FAQ
1. Who are the courses for?
The courses are aimed at adult learners of all levels, from beginner to professional. Classes are differentiated according to the students who participate.
2. Do I need to bring my own materials?
At HEARTSPACE MØN we have the very basic materials available, but you are expected to bring your own materials such as canvases, paints, pastels etc. You will be informed about this during the course.
3. Where can I buy materials?
Some things can be bought from us, other things for example at lizasgallery.com, also located on Møn, which is a really good choice for a well-stocked artist material store.
4. Is it possible to park at HEARTSPACE MØN?
Yes, you can park in the Heartspace Møns area, there is plenty of space.
5. Is there public transport to ♡ARTSPACE MØN?
Bus no. 667 goes from Stege. Get off at Landsled, Klintevej and from there it is only about a 300 meters walk to HEARTSPACE MØN.
The course times are arranged so that the start times fit really well with the bus times. The end times may fit less well at times, but we'll find a solution during the first course and see if anyone needs a ride to Stege. Either we'll drive you then, or you can maybe get a ride with a fellow course participant.
6. What I if get hungry or thirsty during the course?
There is coffee or tea and cookies for all participants. Feel free to bring food to eat during a break.
7. What if I or the teacher cancels?
Registration is binding and no refunds in case of cancellation by the course participants. If the teacher cancels, the students will get their lessons on another day.
